Our Doctor
Dr. Ryan E. Thomas
Dr. Ryan Thomas grew up in Fruit Heights, UT. He graduated from Davis High School and received an academic scholarship to several Universities. He attended Utah State University on scholarship for one year prior to serving a 2 year LDS mission to Sevilla Spain Mission. Upon returning, he received an academic scholarship to Weber State University. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and a Minor in Spanish.
Dr. Thomas attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California. He received the American Student Dental Association student of the year his final year of dental school and ranked consistently in the top of his class scholastically and clinically. He also represented the America Student Dental Association for 2 years in their national meetings working in conjunction with the American Dental Association. He graduated in 2001 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association.
Dr. Thomas began his dental career in Salt Lake City as an associate at a family practice and soon after opened Baer Canyon Dental in Kaysville in 2003 as his own practice.
Dr. Thomas married his wife Stacey in 2000. They met through a mutual friend in California. Stacey grew up in Rhode Island and moved to California as a young teenager. She studied Dental Hygiene in California and is a registered dental hygienist. They have four children. The last 2 were adopted in 2011 and are only 4 months apart in age.
Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife and crazy kids doing any of the following: Having FUN, snowboarding and skiing, spending time in the outdoors, occasionally catching a fish and will travel anywhere to experience something new.

From the office staff, to Dr. Thomas, we have been treated the best for years! Last week I had an emergency before we left for a vacation. Dr. Thomas came in on a Saturday to correct the problem. Try to find someone who will do that! I wish I could give them more that 5 stars.
